Philosophy in the Garden

The University of Dundee Botanic Garden and Philosophy Programme have joined together to present two talks on the theme of ‘Philosophy and Gardens’, followed by a drinks reception, on Friday 10th July at 2pm in the Botanic Garden Education Centre.

Dominic Smith, Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Dundee, will be talking on ‘Lifeworlds in Microcosm: How can a garden be a space of radical experience?’, and Neil Paterson of the Botanic Garden will be talking ‘On Being Happy: Epicureans in the Garden’.
