David Webb,  “Michel Serres: on Music and Sensibility”

 

David Webb is Professor of Philosophy at Staffordshire University.

His research is centred on recent and contemporary European philosophy, and he has a particular interest in French epistemology and philosophy of science. He is the author of Foucault’s Archaeology: Science and Transformation (Edinburgh University Press, 2012) and Heidegger, Ethics and the Practice of Ontology (Continuum Press, 2009). He has also translated a number of important works in continental philosophy, including (with William James Ross) Michel Serres’ The Birth of Physics (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2018).
